Problem
Shopping for linens can be overwhelming due to the wide variety of options, specific use cases, and materials. Customers often struggle to find the right products for their needs, such as distinguishing between bath towels and kitchen towels or selecting the perfect rug for their space. Many apps lack the filters and curated search features necessary to simplify this process.
The goal was to create a seamless shopping experience for linens and towels, combining a friendly, approachable design with functional features like easy navigation and personalization.
Approach
To address this challenge, I conducted extensive research on customer preferences, industry standards, and common search behaviors in linen stores. This included analyzing the distinctions between product categories like bath linens, kitchen towels, and rugs, as well as identifying the most relevant filters, such as size, material, and intended use. I paired this functionality with a friendly and eye-catching design to ensure an engaging and intuitive user experience.
The design focused on a clean layout, clear call-to-action buttons, and a simplified checkout process. Personalized options for items like color and size were also prioritized.
Users were often overwhelmed with the variety of options and struggled with slow checkouts. A solution was needed for intuitive filtering and an easy-to-use shopping cart system.
